The FSP held a webinar on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 7:00 PM EST on Liver Biopsy Interpretation: Patterns and Clinical Correlations given by Murli Krishna, MD.

The goal of obtaining a non-lesional liver biopsy is to help determine the presence, type and extent of liver injury and possible etiologic associations. An important part of histologic evaluation is recognizing patterns of histologic changes and the corresponding possible causes. In this Webinar, Dr. Krishna presented a systematic approach for evaluating biopsies based on pattern recognition, and where applicable describe more specific findings, with the aim of providing our clinical colleagues with information relevant to patient management.
